And Guizmo apparently survived some torrential rains and a hailstorm. I was told to expect to find a full-fledged flooding event in the bilge, but came to discover a tiny amount of moisture. Things look generally ok. I'll try to finish some work and then get back to making the boat sailable.
It is nice to be somewhere where the hills are a sunburnt yellow (as opposed to the lush green of Chennai, India), the weather is dry (as opposed to dripping hot and humid), and the trees are mostly short and scrawny bushes (as opposed to tropical monstrosities) -- it feels like home.
